Repelmite

Natural repellent in liquid form repelling mites and undesirable insects in bird breeding.
RepelMite is based on extracts of cloves and lemongrass, which are supplemented with substances to promote water and feed intake and good health.
The clove extract contains the organic compound eugenol, which travels through the bloodstream after feeding and repels mites that parasitize birds and feed on their blood. This disrupts the mite reproductive cycle and the mite population in the breeding stock rapidly declines - by more than 80% according to studies. As the active ingredients of RepelMite are also contained in the droppings, the effectiveness of the product extends to the environment in which the birds are kept. At the same time, thanks to the eugenol in the blood, RepelMite has a long-term repellent eff ect. However, a visible reduction in the parasite population is only achieved after a longer period of time due to starvation and cessation of their multiplication. It acts on fowl mites, biting lice, scaly-leg mites and effectively deters flies.

DOSAGE: 2 ml/1 litre of drinking water
• 10-14 days to achieve sufficient eugenol blood levels, then 2x weekly maintenance dose
